R.I.P. Mike Wieringo

A great artist and one of my favorite pencillers Mike Wieringo passed away this week of a sudden heart attack. He was 44. I never met the guy, but I'll sure miss him. If you're unfamiliar with his work, check out back issues of Superman, The Flash, Spider-Man and his sensational work on The Fantastic Four.

I'M BACK!

Sorry for the delay. I was in California visiting my folks and attending the San Diego Comic Con (It was a blast!). I also have been updating my website (www.ghostpimp.com Check it out!), and fixing my stupid scanner (Thanks, Danny!)

I did this comic during my Kubert School years, I'm guessing around 1990 or so. It's all true.

DOLPHIN

Found in virtually all seas and oceans of the world, The Dolphin eats fish and squid. These lively mammels are very social and travel in groups (called pods) of 20 to several hundred. Females give birth after a 10 to 12 month pregnancy and mother and calf stay together for two to four years. Dolphins can't go into a full deep sleep because they have to be conscious to breath. They solve this problem by letting one half of their brain sleep at at time.
